Exhibitions and workshops in the Hub over the next few months.
Unless stated otherwise, tickets for events must be reserved and paid for in advance. This can be done by bank transfer to account number 33761614, sort code 20-65-20 (please quote workshop name as a reference) or cheque made payable to Hungerford Library & Community Trust. If you are buying a ticket less than one week before the event, we can only accept payment by cash.
Hub ArtSpace : first Sunday in the month, 2-5pm
Self-lead drawing workshop, working in a relaxed and informal environment with themed subjects – still life of industrial relics, coastal finds, dynamic flora, the clothed body, and more. Bring your own materials, drawing boards, easels. Tea and coffee provided.

6th October, patterned fabric with metal and glass – riot of pattern!
3rd November, fruit and bowls inspired by Cezanne
1st December, garden theme – clay pots, tools
*these sessions are on the second Sunday due to other events.

A Crafty Girl’s Night Out : first Wednesday of the month, 7-9pm

Tickets £6, includes a glass of wine and money off the book if purchased on the night, available from Hungerford Book Shop or online at Artsforhungerford.com.
Chinese Painting Workshop – “Plum Blossom” : Saturday 9th February, 2.30-5pm
Stevie Franklin returns to hold another of her very popular workshops on the art of Chinese painting. This was a sell-out on the last one so be sure to book a place soon. Included in the ticket price are all materials, including brushes, inks and paper, as well as a selection of Chinese snacks to mark the new year celebrations.

HEAT Pop-up Shop : Sunday 10th February, 1-5pm
Pop-up shop organised by Hungerford Environmental Action Team featuring Scoop-Zero Waste from Faringdon and Thatcham Refillable. Bring along your bags and containers and stock up on loose food, laundry detergent, toiletries and more.
World Book Day Children’s Event: Thursday 7th March

Indian Block Printing for children : Saturday 16th March, 2-4.30pm.
Just in time for Mothers’ Day! Choose your wood blocks from over 50 available designs and print a tea towel and an apron. Your print will then be heat sealed and packaged ready for gifting, with full washing instructions. Be sure to wear old clothes just in case you get a little messy. The ticket price includes one apron and one tea towel for printing, but additional ones will also be available on the day to purchase separately. Limited spaces.
£15, includes all materials, payable in advance. Suitable for children 8-years upwards. Dad’s welcome too!
