We have used the Hub for a range of events, from interactive planning meetings, to environmental film showings, to presentations on reducing home energy. It’s a welcoming, airy and light space with good facilities. The staff are very supportive, flexible and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The Hub provides a fantastic venue for community groups in Hungerford to come together and we’re very lucky to have it.

Our thanks to the Hub for supporting the Covid Vaccination Programme over the Spring period. The venue was a delight to work from and patients certainly found the hub very welcoming. We’ve been using the Hub to host small team meetings and it has proved to be a great resource for us. We were struggling to find a private meeting space with access to wifi in Hungerford, but the Hub is ideal, particularly as it’s so conveniently located. The hire charge is very reasonable and we will definitely be using it again.

I love using the hub for author events, especially as many of our talks include presentations - the new screen is better than every other venue I have used. Hub crew are so friendly and helpful too. Plus there is parking right next to it, ideal for visitors.

As a “Hubber” I help set up and steward the events, meeting lots of different and interesting people along the way. I can choose how much volunteering I do, and the Trustees and Hubbers are a great group of people to work alongside, and I can’t praise their hard work and commitment enough.

The Hub is a quiet and easily accessible location which allows you to focus on the purpose of your meeting. The staff and volunteers are always very friendly and helpful. At this point in time the arts are suffering more than ever and so the free hire has been a real life line to the theatre company. Without venues that will support community clubs there will be a severe lack of opportunities in the future. The hub has made a real difference to the theatre company and therefore to the community.
